We are recruiting to fill three full time, non-permanent, Scientific Technician 2 positions located in the Wildlife Program’s Science Division. The duty station for this position will be determined upon hire. Project duration is 6 May – 31 July 2013.
These positions report to the Biologist 3 responsible for the survey results. The technicians are part of a four member field crew working along the eastern Strait of Juan de Fuca and inland waters of Puget Sound including the San Juan Islands, conducting at sea surveys using line transect distance sampling for marbled murrelets specifically, in addition to all seabirds and marine mammals encountered.
