CleanScapes in Seattle, Washington is currently looking for a GIS Specialist 1.

The GIS Specialist’s essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

·       Use the RouteSmart extension for ArcGIS to build, maintain, improve, and otherwise modify truck routes.

·       Use RouteSmart and ERP routing module to update ERP routing data.

·       Create route maps to support routes.

·       Create custom maps at request of other departments.

·       Understand current routing schemes in service areas and provide support to route managers, customer service, or company clients as needed.

·       Understand routing efficiency and protect efficiency goals.

·       Interact regularly with customer service, route managers, operations control, data quality, cities, and drivers.

·       Train other departments on GIS applications and concepts.

·       Other duties may be assigned.

Qualified candidates will have:

·       Bachelor’s Degree in geography or related field preferred.

·       Experience with ArcGIS program suite.

·       Familiarity with TNET

·       Basic project management experience is a plus.

·       Ability to sit long periods of time in front of computer doing repetitive tasks.

·       Excellent writing skills.

·       Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel).
