Metro has two part-time temporary positions available in environmental education. These jobs are based at the Oregon Zoo and will begin in early September.
1) Waste Reduction Education Assistant (Puppeteer), grades K-3; performs educational puppet shows for K-3rd grade students at metro-area elementary schools; up to 14 hours per week, primarily on Mondays and Wednesdays, depending on demand for presentations.
2) Waste Reduction Education Assistant, grades K-5. Delivers waste reduction themed classroom presentations to elementary school students at metro-area schools; up to 24 hours/week.
