Portland Fruit Tree Project is currently accepting applications for two
6-month internship positions that begin in October. PFTP internships are
exciting opportunities to be part of a vibrant and growing organization.
Interns gain valuable experience, connections, and the fulfillment of
knowing that your efforts will positively impact thousands of families
throughout the harvesting season and beyond.

*Harvest & Stewardship Intern *
The Harvest & Stewardship Intern will assist in the implementation of
Portland Fruit Tree Project’s Fruit Tree Stewardship & Community Orchards
programs by assisting in the coordination our Tree Care Teams program and
Tree Care Workshop series, helping us maintain our existing Community
Orchard sites, and develop new Community Orchard partnerships. During the
first two months of the internship, the intern will also be working with
our Community Harvest programs.

*Outreach & Development Intern*
The Outreach & Development Intern will assist with media and outreach to
spread the word about PFTP, and bring diverse participants into our
programs. The intern will also assist with fundraising and resource
development to support Portland Fruit Tree Project’s growing programs. This
will be an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising
and communications, while making a difference for PFTP and the communities
we serve.
