Experimental Economics

Are you interested in behavioral economics, industrial organization, or individual decision-making? TI and the University of Amsterdam (UvA) offer a summer course in experimental economics. This introductory course provides an in-depth analysis of some recent developments, including the rapid growth of behavioural economics and the increased use of field experiments. Scholarships and Fee

This one-week crash course is an introduction to the field of experimental economics. At the end of the course you will have obtained the skills needed to design and run an experiment as part of your thesis. The course will be held in Amsterdam form July 6  – 10, 2015. Lecturers are Professors Arthur Schram and Jeroen van de Ven (UvA). Entry level: Master’s. We welcome Master’s and PhD students, alumni, or professionals in economics and related fields to join this course.

The fee to participate in the course is € 950. The University of Amsterdam has scholarships available for summer school participants. The € 950 course fee includes: materials (book and slides), daily lunches, social event including a dinner and a farewell party including drinks. Accommodation costs are not covered by this fee. The TI-UvA summer school will arrange housing options.
