The Washington State Economic and Revenue Forecast Council (ERFC) promotes state government financial stability by producing an accurate forecast of economic activity and General Fund revenue for the legislature and the governor to be used as the basis of the state budget. The internship will start on June 1, 2015 and end approximately September 15, 2015. The start and end dates can be flexible. This is a paid internship. The wage is $10/hour. The workload is 15-20 hours per week. This position is required to report to the ERFC office in Olympia. |
Duties: |
The Research Intern assists Forecast Council staff in a variety of special tasks and projects. The Intern will work on the annual Washington State Climate Study, identify new sources of data and update a workbook of the data. The Intern will gather, verify, display and analyze data from a variety of sources, primarily the Internet. Additional projects that relate to the State’s economic and revenue forecast will be assigned as time allows during the internship. |
