The Toxics Cleanup Program (TCP) is looking to hire a Site Manager (Environmental Engineer 2) This position will work out of our Eastern Regional Office in Spokane, WA.

This position provides environmental engineering and site management support to the Toxics Cleanup Program (TCP) Eastern Regional Office. The position actively applies engineering and scientific principles toward the investigation and cleanup of contaminated sites.
Professional responsibilities include front-line site manager duties, involving the protection of human health and environment, producing and evaluating engineering elements of environmental remedial action work. The position provides environmental advisement to staff and supervisor. A core program objective of the position is to “Protect, Preserve and Enhance Washington’s Environment” and “Clean up Pollution” by achieving the timely and progressive remediation of contaminated sites in accordance with the Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA). Required Qualifications A Master’s degree with major study in one of the following engineering fields: sanitary, water resource, civil, geotechnical, environmental, chemical, mechanical, or related field AND one year of experience in environmental engineering. OR An Engineer-In-Training Certificate or a Bachelor’s degree with a major study in one of the following engineering fields: sanitary, civil, geotechnical, water resource, environmental, chemical, mechanical or related field AND two years of environmental engineering experience. Special Requirements Valid Washington State Drivers License.
