Marine Habitat Restoration Specialist – MI

ERT is seeking a restoration specialist to provide technical support for NOAA’s Great Lakes Habitat Restoration Program. Will support the evaluation, identification, prioritization, design, implementation and monitoring of habitat restoration projects throughout the Great Lakes. Will provide technical oversight of the planning, design, implementation, and monitoring of restoration projects, and provide technical assistance, administrative support, and expertise to support NOAA’s restoration activities. Will maintain and manage specific restoration project data; provide technical, management, and planning support on natural resource damage cases and Great Lakes Restoration Initiative projects; provide oversight of field activities and sub-contractors; and assist in the development of applicable permits and development of appropriate NEPA documentation for environmental compliance. Will support the coordination of public meetings, press releases, events, and other outreach activities.
