Pacific Whale Foundation, headquartered in Hawaii on the beautiful island of Maui, has an immediate opening for a Research Assistant. This is a full-time position and salary will be commensurate with skills and experience.
Position Summary
The Research Assistant is responsible for assisting with our ongoing marine mammal research in Hawai’i, Australia, and throughout the Pacific. This position reports to the Sr. Research Biologist and is based at Pacific Whale Foundation headquarters in Maui, Hawai’i, where the majority of our research takes place. In addition, approximately 90-120 days of fieldwork might be spent in Australia each year, if required.
