Located in John Day, plan, direct and coordinate management of specific aspects of fish resources in the Malheur Watershed District. Supervise field activities. Protect aquatic/riparian habitat by frequent field investigations of land/resource use operations and recommend to various regulating agencies/private landowners actions to avoid, minimize or mitigate damage to fish resources.

Qualifications:
Requires three years’ biological experience with one year performing activities in a fish or wildlife program such as researching and analyzing data, conducting investigations, applying pertinent laws and regulations, or coordinating and monitoring project activities; and a Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries/Wildlife Science or a closely-related Bachelor’s degree or three additional years’ biological experience. A Master’s or Doctorate degree will substitute for some experience.

Salary: $4,305.00-$6,046.00/mo. Generous benefits package.
