In addition to these two itineraries, Greentrek offers tailor-made, experiential learning programs for student groups, and volunteering opportunities for undergraduate and post-graduate students.   Greentrek can help professors design field-based learning experiences which include volunteering for on-going research and conservation projects.

Greentrek has forged strong partnerships with Ecuador’s top academic institutions and universities, biological research stations, as well as with several non-profit (NGO) and rural community organizations working in sustainable development and conservation.  Wherever possible, we arrange homestay experiences for student groups and volunteers to facilitate a deeper cultural and language learning immersion experience.
