You can G.R.O.W. with Us by becoming our Summer Intern – Collections Operations in Seattle, WA THE ROLE The Recology internship program will take you outside the classroom and provide you with hands-on professional experience. Each intern will see first-hand the many facets of our business, as well as lead a project and experience how our employee-owners help communities reach their sustainability goals. Recology is a vibrant organization, driven by the passion our employee-owners have for the commitment to provide quality services to our customers and become environmental stewards. We are looking for interns who are excited to help solve the challenges of resource recovery in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Every Internship is Unique Recology gives every intern a major initiative and guidance from professionals to ensure the successful completion of the project. Recology couples day-to-day work with experience in the field, attending local meetings, and knowledge sharing seminars. After completing an internship, you are able to add real-world experience to your resume, and you have the potential to remain part of the Recology family. OPERATIONS INTERNSHIP Operations – Organics Operations – Collections All Recology internship positions are full-time, paid positions. We appreciate intern candidates that are flexible on the location* of their internship. During your 12 weeks, you’ll have the chance to network with our management team, develop new skills, learn about our business, and experience what it’s like to work within an innovative company. Upon successful completion of the program, interns may be considered for regular full-time, paid positions at Recology. *At this time, housing allowance is unavailable. PROGRAM START DATES We will have two (2) start dates, and two end dates. Intern candidates must be able to commit to one of the start dates and complete a continuous 12 week internship.
