| The Tacoma City Council is looking to fill several seats on the Sustainable Tacoma Commission. The purpose of the Sustainable Tacoma Commission is to:
§ Bring citizen participation and accountability to the implementation of Tacoma’s Environmental Action Plan § Communicate and encourage public involvement in environmental sustainability issues
This could be the perfect opportunity for you if you want to: § Affect positive change in your community § Advise Tacoma City Council on sustainability issues

| Want to apply? Here’s what you need to know:
§ Applications for youth (16 – 22 yrs.) and adults (18+ yrs) are now being accepted § Commissioners serve 2-3 year terms (youth term is 1 year) § Applicants must be able to attend monthly meetings (currently the third Tuesday of each month from 4:30-6:30pm. Monthly time commitment is usually between 4-6 hours)
