GeoDecisions, a division of Gannett Fleming is currently seeking a Mid or Senior Level Web Developer with a top-secret security clearance to work in Vienna, VA or St. Louis, MO.

The Web Developer would join a team of developers servicing a government client and current development activities across the company. This position will be primarily supporting various Federal Government clients and innovative project throughout the country.  The projects entail the design and development of advanced spatial analytical capabilities and toolsets, data maintenance and processing toolsets, web functionality, among other project activities that offer daily diversity to a developer’s experiences.  This exciting opportunity provides for an individual to grow their career while working with a young, motivated project team, in a dynamic work environment and motivated clients.This position is contingent upon client funding.

Requirements

Be part of a software development team to develop solutions based on client requirements
• Participate in application requirements gathering and design meetings
• Support under the direction of a technical architect/project manager, the development of solution modules
• Oversee testing workflows on code and review recorded findings, working with development team to resolve defects
• Be able to support rapid application development with prototypes, etc.
• Attend project status meetings as required

Minimum Qualifications

BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, GIS, or related field required.
2+ years’ experience developing web applications within enterprise architectures
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Ability to manage tasks and timelines effectively
Demonstrable ability to work as part of an integrated solution development team
Must already have a top-secret security clearance
Technical Skills

Expert web development skills, including cross-browser HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX
Experience creating scalable, high performance JavaScript Web Applications
Strong web development design skills, including information architecture, interface design, visual design
Experience in the development of web services and APIs
Knowledge of CSS3 and HTML5
Experience with C#, ASP.NET
Experience with server-side MVC frameworks such as ASP.net, MVC, Ruby on Rails or Zend Framework
Experience with object-relational mapper such as NHibernate preferred
Experience with esri tools and API’s preferred
