National conservation organization seeks a regular, full-time California Program Manager-Tahoe Area. Position works closely with California-based program staff and National Forest Foundation staff to provide project management, contract management, and program development support. And, responsible for developing, implementing, and managing conservation programs with the U.S. Forest Service, communities, conservation NGOs, and private sector partners. Supervises 2-4 employees. Bachelor’s degree (with undergraduate preferred) in conservation, forestry, planning, or related field; and an understanding of California natural resources issues; ability to work with wide range of people; ability and willingness to travel regularly, work in outdoors conditions, and maintain a flexible work schedule, including participation in weekend and evening events; strong attention to detail.
