We are looking to add a new Conservation Project Coordinator to our small team. This person will be responsible for day-to-day coordination of conservation easement projects, and annual easement monitoring once the projects are complete. A few of the key duties include:

Manage easement projects, including timeline and budget development, project coordination, deadline management, and communications

Review or draft various conservation easement related documents

Organize and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines, and track and follow-up on tasks assigned to other members of the project team

Build and maintain lasting, positive professional working relationships with landowners, public agency staff, and other members of the project team

 

As a member of a small team, the CPC will also help with various other activities as needed. Some of the skills you’ll need to be successful in this position are:

Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines, and track and follow-up on tasks assigned to other members of the project team

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to learn and explain complex processes and concepts

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to quickly learn and implement additional software as needed

Strong attention to detail

 

Compensation for this position will be hourly, depending on experience, between $24-$27 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), plus holiday, vacation, and sick time. This position requires the ability to travel throughout Central California.
