Are you a college student and looking for a paid wildlife internship this summer?  The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) has 20+ positions for current undergraduate or graduate students.  Internships are not to exceed 400 hours in duration, between May 1, 2019 and September 30, 2019 with an hourly rate of $14.44. In some cases, temporary housing is provided.

More info on each internship and the internship program in general can be found at: https://www.dfw.state.or.us/wildlife/interns/index.asp

This is an excellent program that provides valuable training experiences for students entering the field of wildlife management.  Plus a great opportunity to get a glimpse of what it’s like to work for ODFW. Positions can be filled quickly so I suggest you apply ASAP.  Qualified applicants can and are encouraged to apply for more than one internship.

If you have any questions about the internship program or application process, please contact Chris Vogel, Wildlife Restoration Coordinator, 503-947-6127, christopher.m.vogel@state.or.us<mailto:christopher.m.vogel@state.or.us>.
