Are you also an administrative support wizard who thrives on managing data and all the little details that make a difference? If so, our Development Assistant role is your dream position!

As a Development Assistant you’ll serve as an ambassador of Food Lifeline by supporting our fundraising efforts in providing excellent customer service to donors that enable Food Lifeline to fulfill our mission of ending hunger in our community. You’ll work primarily out of our Hunger Solution Center in the South Park neighborhood, but, you’ll also work offsite as we take our fundraising efforts into the community with our many fundraising events. You’ll primarily work 8:30 to 5:00 Monday and Friday, however your schedule needs to be flexible to work occasional evenings and weekends. If you enjoy connecting with donors, colleagues, and community while also maintaining excellent and accurate data, love corresponding with people and have an eye for detail — we want to hear from you!

The Development Assistant will:
• Provides excellent administrative support for day-to-day fundraising operations, including timely and accurate data entry, gift acknowledgement and other mailings, event guest registration, and other special projects
• Enter and process donations ensuring they are applied to correct appeal/packages and constituent records.

• Prepare acknowledgment and pledge reminder correspondence (mail and email) ensuring accuracy, relevancy, appropriateness and timeliness.
•Aid our outstanding staff fundraisers in managing donor candidates, candidate streams and volunteer fundraisers
