Project Description:

Washington State Parks is interested in partnering with students to improve trail mapping and trail safety at several existing state parks with significant trail systems. The effort includes inspecting and mapping existing trails and noting any safety hazards and maintenance issues. State Parks is also interested in establishing emergency checkpoints within the trail system that is intended to enhance trail user navigation and safety by providing checkpoints within the trail system that will guide emergency responders, law enforcement, or parks personnel to injured or lost trail users.

Wallace Falls State Park, Dash Point State Park, Saint Edward State Park, Fort Ebey State Park, Deception Pass State Park, Moran State Park
