The Opportunity:

The I-405/SR 167 Megaprogram is seeking an Environmental Engineering Manager, who will be responsible and accountable for the success delivery of mega design-build projects on the I-405/SR 167 corridors. As the Environmental Engineering Manager for the Megaprogram, this position will be responsible for developing, implementing and communicating the long-term environmental vision for the program. This position will strategically manage the environmental policy, standards, and procedures and oversight of all environmental elements to ensure program’s construction, maintenance and operations activities comply with all federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations in a manner that is consistent with WSDOT’s mission and goals.

This position will manage the Megaprogram projects and staff of 15-40 professionals (State and Consultants). This position will provide day-to-day management of professional and technical engineers to incorporate environmental protection and improvements to the megaprogram transportation plans and facilities.
