BOARD MEMBER – Volunteer

The Puget Sound Estuarium is seeking applicants to serve on its volunteer Board of Directors. The Estuarium is looking for people with a passion for connecting the community with Puget Sound’s estuary environment. We welcome applications from all interested people. Experience working with volunteer-based organizations is helpful. Having marine or estuary knowledge is not a pre-requisite. We are particularly interested in applicants with fiscal and management experience. Our Board values consensus, collaboration, and respect for our local community and ecosystems.

Each member of the Board of Directors serves a three-year term. Responsibilities include thoughtful participation in monthly Board meetings, service, and support of the Estuarium in a variety of tasks and events. Previous experience serving on non-profit boards is not required.
