Description
Acquire and maintain the environmental data of the Salmon and Steelhead Habitat Inventory and Assessment Program (SSHIAP) AquaScape platform and perform routine and complex geospatial operations, produce and maintain web maps and support tribal data management needs.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Natural Resources or related field and one year of pertinent work experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position. Background in information management systems – in particular incorporation and migration of legacy datasets is required. Ability to analyze and compile technical information to prepare reports and present information. Highly proficient in Esri ArcGIS Desktop, ArcPRO, extensions, geoprocessing tools, Microsoft SQL, Word and Excel. Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Portal. Must have a good understanding of GIS best practices and standards. Able to travel to conduct site visits to gather data and to attend relevant meetings. Ability to work independently under minimal supervision and cooperatively in a team environment to contribute to the improvement of the sharing of tribal data.
