Eckerd College invites applications for a one-year replacement position in Environmental Studies to start in Fall 2019. Candidates should have an M.S. or Ph.D. in environmental studies or a closely related field, and a commitment to the liberal arts. Teaching load is seven courses per year, including sophomore/junior level courses in Marine Protected Species, Fisheries Governance, and additional courses in the candidate’s area of interest/specialization. Eckerd College, the only independent national liberal arts college in Florida, has a tradition of innovative education and teaching/mentoring excellence. Submit letter of application, vita, recent teaching evaluations, statement of teaching philosophy, undergraduate and graduate transcripts, and contact information for three references so that letters of recommendation can be requested via http://eckerd.hirecentric.com/jobs/.
