Mission: ECO inspires students to care for nature and their local communities through hands-on science education.

Position: ECO Educator

The ECO Educator is the face of the organization. They provide a key connection between our schools, outdoor sites, and students. The Educator helps to create the educational setting and ambiance that helps students meaningfully engage with nature. They work closely with the After School Program Coordinator and Program Managers to understand our program’s parameters and specifics, from curriculum delivery to outdoor project management. The Educator will work in the school on a daily basis to maintain the safety of students, create an engaging and enjoyable outdoor experience for students, and deliver curriculum.

Start Date: Late August- Early Sept

FTE: 35 hrs/wk (0.875 FTE)

Benefits: FTE equivalent of 40 hours of PTO + 9 holidays + 5 day year-end break
