Doctoral studies and fellowships in Conservation and Management of Natural Resources

The Doctoral Program in Conservation and Management of Natural Resources at the Universidad de Los Lagos (Chile) (www.ulagos.cl) has the objective of forming scientists at the highest academic level, characterized by a solid theoretical foundation, and capable of contributing to the search of solutions for problems related to the conservation, management and use of the environment and its living resources (www.ciencias.ulagos.cl). The Program offers a limited number of fellowships, which cover most of the university fees and provide additional support for living expenses. These fellowships are awarded on a competitive basis, considering academic records, results from written examinations and personal interviews (in Spanish, in person or on-line). Fellowships are available for four years, conditional on annual performance reviews and satisfactory progress in the doctoral program.
