The Tualatin Soil and Water Conservation District is hiring an Education and Outreach Specialist to join the Conservation Education Program!
The Education & Outreach Specialist organizes and implements outreach efforts and conservation education programs to promote the District’s programs and projects and to increase public awareness and understanding of natural resource issues. This employee is responsible for coordination and delivery of workshops, development and implementation of outreach initiatives, and creation of educational and outreach materials. This employee works cooperatively with other TSWCD programs and partner organizations to identify education and outreach needs and opportunities. The person in this position is responsible for accurately representing the District and effectively communicating its programs and services to partners and the public. This position reports to the Conservation Education Program Manager.
