Graduate student position available in Earth System Modeling at the University of Georgia: The Climate, Clouds, and Land Modeling Group in the Department of Geography at the University of Georgia (PI: Dr. Gabriel Kooperman, <http://kooperman.uga.edu>) is seeking new graduate students at either the M.S. or Ph.D. level. The researcher would join a team focused on understanding the water cycle and extreme weather/climate events using state-of-the-art Earth system models. Prospective students should have an academic background in atmospheric/earth/climate/physical science or a related field, and a strong interest in modeling the Earth system. Previous research experience is preferred, but not required.
