Interns will lead NSEA Community Work Parties while learning about restoration techniques, native plants, and salmon ecology. Interns will educate community members about the importance of salmon and instruct volunteers in restoring habitat through Whatcom County.

Qualifications:

  • Interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to get dirt and work hard in all weather
  • A working knowledge of Pacific salmon and native plants, preferred
  • Must be able to carry 40 pounds

Time Commitment

  • Saturdays and select weekdays
