Mellon Fund Travel Scholarship
This scholarship opportunity is for students with travel expenses associated with academic programs and individual study during the 2019-20 academic year. These funds are available this year only and provided by the Mellon Foundation.
Students with demonstrated financial need are particularly encouraged to apply.
Maximum amount: $1,000
Awards from this scholarship can be used to:
- offset costs of academic program travel, either abroad or domestic
- cover expenses related to individual study research that requires travel
Awards will vary, have a maximum of $1000, and will be awarded on a rolling basis. The first awardees will be notified in early January 2020, with remaining awardees notified as funding allows. Funds will be distributed prior to the quarter of travel.
Students who receive this scholarship will be expected to provide a short report within 30 days of return from travel detailing their academic experience.
