Washington Trails Association (WTA) is the nation’s largest state-based hiking and trail maintenance organization. We are now hiring 10+ seasonal staff for our 2020 field team. Field staff manage volunteer trail maintenance work parties on public lands, and have the opportunity to work in some of our state’s most beautiful places.
Positions supporting day- and week-long trail maintenance work parties are available, along with jobs in our youth program, and managing logistics. If you love working outdoors and share our belief that everyone should feel included in the hiking community, we encourage you to apply! Previous trail maintenance experience is required for Crew Leader positions, but is not required for Crew Assistant and Logistics Assistant Positions.
Positions are full time, range from 3-6 months, and are paid $17.40-$21.25 per hour depending on experience. Benefits include sick leave, a gear reimbursement, and may include an employer match retirement plan (depending on term of employment)
