How to Explain Science, Share Data, and Build Trust: Presentation Skills for Scientists and Public Officials
A two-day training from Cathy Angell
*Depending on the circumstances, we will offer this training virtually in replacement of in-person (Dates below still apply). An update will be sent out as the date for this training gets closer.
Do you speak at conferences, public meetings, or other events where you need to convey a specific message? Have you ever felt like you didn’t quite hit the mark by the lackluster reactions of your audience? Would you like to authentically engage people and help them to consider a different point of view?
This popular two-day class features best practices for designing presentations and is especially geared towards scientists and professionals who work in the public and private sectors.
In this class, you will learn how to:
  • Transform the way you do PowerPoint;
  • Deliver a crystal-clear message;
  • Present data that sticks in peoples brains;
  • Keep your audience interested and engaged.
The classes will be held two weeks apart. In between, you will develop a short presentation to present to the class on Day Two. This is an opportunity for you to immediately apply what you’ve learned and to receive positive coaching and feedback.
Note: Cathy Angell’s class typically has a registration fee of over $400! To take this class for FREE is a rare opportunity!
Because of limited space, if you sign up, you MUST attend both day 1 and your choice of day 2. This is a two-day commitment to improving your PowerPoint presentation skills.
Unless unforeseen circumstances prevent you from attending, there will be a cancellation fee of $500 if you do not attend day 2.
