To prepare businesses and the financial sector for the new challenges brought by the current crisis, the Frankfurt School – UNEP Collaborating Centre for Climate & Sustainable Energy Finance is offering again its online programme Certified Expert in Sustainable Finance (in German or English) from 1st September 2020 to 28th February 2021.

In this course, you will learn to understand the major drivers and constraints of transforming the financial system into a more sustainable one. The course will enable financial professionals, consultants and advisors to integrate Sustainable Finance (incl. ESG) aspects into their work and to provide new tools for advising clients and business partners. Real-life business cases round up the course and provide best practices and lessons learned:

  • The Certified Expert in Sustainable Finance (CESFi)

In addition, Frankfurt School is offering three climate finance-related courses, targeted at finance professionals and practitioners to build the necessary capacities for the ongoing transformation in the renewable energy sector, to make the world more climate-resilient and to finance commitments outlined in the submitted Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).

  • The Certified Expert in Climate & Renewable Energy Finance (CECRF)
  • The Certified Expert in Climate and Adaption Finance (CECAF)
  • The Certified Expert in Financing NDCs (CEFNDC) – NEW

The flexible part-time training concept is implemented through the training platform of Frankfurt School’s Sustainable World Academy (www.fs.de/swa). After successful completion of one of the accredited courses, participants will receive a Certificate by Frankfurt School, one of the leading business universities in Europe.

The next 6-months e-learning courses start on 1st of September 2020. Participants who register until 15th July receive the Early Bird Discount.
