Responsibilities

As a Fish Biologist, you will perform the following duties:

• Serve as Charter Vessel Coordinator (CVC) by coordinating all charter vessel aspects of the Groundfish Assessment Program (GAP) survey activities and coordinates planning for surveys among GAP, Resource Assessment and Conservation Engineering (RACE) Survey Support Team (RSST), and Net Loft (NL) Programs.
• Coordinate Division planning to develop and maintain survey data collection technologies and plan and coordinate survey staff training.
• Serve as a Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) for survey charters by working with a Contracting Officer to: solicit and evaluate proposals; administer contracts; advise on compliance; certify invoices; analyze and evaluate proposals & costs.
