What do Mono Lake, Mt. Whitney, the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest and Mammoth Lakes have in common besides residing in one of the most diverse and spectacular national forests? They are what your “view from work” could be if you join the ESIA team and work for one of the Eastern Sierra’s oldest non-profit organizations. The Eastern Sierra Interpretive Association (ESIA) is the public’s connection to the Eastern Sierra landscape and public lands through interpretive and education opportunities.
ESIA is currently seeking full-time Bookstore/Visitor Services Managers and part-time and full-time Sales/Visitor Services Associates at the Mono Basin Scenic Area Visitor Center, Mammoth Lakes Welcome Center, Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest Visitor Center & InterAgency Visitor Center in Lone Pine.
In partnership with the Inyo National Forest, ESIA personnel provide information and service for the benefit of the public and our partners and operate the ESIA Discovery Bookstores. The Sales/Visitor Services staff are the public face of the Eastern Sierra Interpretive Association, a non-profit organization, and are vital inpromoting its mission and values.
