The Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit’s Ecosystems Staff is recruiting for a Temporary NTE 1039 hours, GS-0430-09 Botanist position with responsibility to perform a variety of botanical support functions. About The Position
The position is located on the LTBMU, within the Ecosystem Conservation Department – Biology Group and will be supervised by the Biological Program Leader. The position will serve as a Botanist and include botanical project support work (including writing biological documents for botanical species) on various programs and projects on the LTBMU and would be the primary crew supervisor of botanical field crews (e.g. invasive plants, rare plants, and general plant inventories). As a crew supervisor the position is expected to plan, organize, lead, train, hire and supervise crews, and conduct botanical inventories and monitoring for the LTBMU.
