NATURAL GARDENING EDUCATOR (TEMPORARY)

Pay: $13.50/hour (April through October)

Supports public outreach and education related to Metro’s natural gardening and toxics reduction program at Blue Lake Natural Discover Garden in Fairview and the Backyard Makeover Exhibit at the Oregon Zoo.

Position duties include developing and delivering educational programming for youth and adults, skilled and semi skilled gardening labor and some manual labor. The ideal candidate is outgoing, self-starter with exceptional oral and social communications skills, expertise in natural gardening techniques and experience educating youth and adults. The position will coordinate the work of volunteers and/or other staff.
