The Corvallis Environmental Center is hiring a

Nature Education Instructor / Program Coordinator   Part – Full time depending on programs

Person must have experience working with kids in an outdoor or classroom setting and beknowledgeable about local ecology. Responsibilities will include Teaching and preparing for summer programs, coordinating volunteers, assisting director,creating and maintain educational exhibits. Position starts at $10 an hour depending on experience 25-35 hrs a week Position begins in May.

Job Requires Individual that:

–  Enjoys Working with Children- Works and communicates well with others – Has experience working with children – Has an understanding of local ecology – understanding of ages and their abilities – Gives clear instructions – Self motivated and independent worker – Enjoys insects, slugs, worms, snakes, frogs, and more
