2014 WALPA CONFERENCE

This year, the Washington State Lake Protection Association (WALPA) will be hosting our 27th annual conference in beautiful Chelan, WA September 30th-October 2nd, 2014. The conference theme is “Applied Limnology.” Registration and exhibit set-up will begin at 12:00pm Tuesday, September 30th, during the pre-conference workshop offerings. Tentative session topics, to begin October 1st, include:
- Lake Chelan
- Student research
- Harmful Algae Blooms
- Volunteer Monitoring
- Fish
- Aquatic Invertebrates
- Invasive plants
