Pierce Conservation District Seeking Community Engagement Manager

Nature and Purpose of the Position:

The position of Community Engagement Manager is a multi-discipline position of the Pierce Conservation District with an emphasis on community engagement and communications.  This position requires flexibility within defined job duties and is expected to eventually manage all outreach/communication/volunteer engagement.  This position reports to the Water Quality Improvement and Monitoring Director.  This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of the Community Engagement Manager is to work closely with the Executive Director to manage the Pierce Conservation District’s website redesign.  Secondly, the Community Engagement Manager will work with the Water Quality Director and external stakeholders to develop and garner community support for the Depave program.  Third, this person will assist the entire staff with community engagement and communication. Fourth, this position will continue to seek funding to support and further develop the Depave program.
