STEM Pals, the Olympia School District Booster Club for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math education (http://stempals.org) would like to thank you for your support of quality STEM education for our students.
The new competitive Robotics season is underway and OSD has a record number of teams representing every middle and high school in the district. We have 11 FIRST LEGO League (FLL) teams from all five middle schools, 8 FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) teams from all three high schools and our district-wide FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team. STEM Pals is looking to facilitate the success of these hard working students through our amazing community of supporters. We have an immediate for adult volunteers to support a local robotics competition for middle school students.

North Thurston Public Schools will be hosting the South Sound FLL Qualifier for the Olympia/Lacey/Tumwater area. On Saturday, December 6, 33 FLL teams (including the 11 from OSD) will be competing at Chinook Middle School in Lacey. STEM Pals is working to help recruit the 30 adult volunteers needed to run this large competition. This fun and exciting event is the culmination of months of hard work for hundreds of very motivated students. More details and a volunteer sign-up link for this critical need can be found here:
