> JOB DESCRIPTION: The person hired for this position will work closely with the Noxious Weed Control Program manager to develop, plan and manage the implementation of watershed-scale riparian noxious weed control projects in King County, coordinating the participation and activities of all landowners in the project areas.

> Duties include working with project partners within the community to conduct outreach on the importance of riparian noxious weed control and on control strategies leading to successful project outcomes; conducting riparian noxious weed field surveys and other related projects; conducting technical informational workshops on the identification and control of riparian noxious weeds; applying for grants and permits; writing grant reports; field data collection and management; planning and leading the operation of weed control crews and contractors, responding to information requests and infestation reports, mapping noxious weed infestations using GIS and GPS, and act as lead for short term temp position.
