Executive Director

BRING is seeking a dynamic, visionary leader to take the reins of our successful, highly regarded non-profit organization at a pivotal moment in the organization’s 44-year history. The new executive director will be a passionate, credible, and articulate advocate for BRING’s mission, someone who leads by example and inspires support from both within and outside the organization. With an entrepreneurial spirit and sound marketing instincts, the new leader will expand BRING’s resource base, developing fruitful partnerships and alliances in the community. Importantly, the new ED understands the urgent environmental issues of the day and will use his/her position to energize new constituents and galvanize broad public support for action.

 

Required Skills & Experience:
• Dynamic Leader
– Chart the course for the next chapter in BRING’s history.
– Lead and empower staff; build strong management team; ensure their success.
– Support and collaborate with board of directors; promote their success.
– Inspire broad public support for BRING’s vision.

• Experienced Manager
– Manage strategic priorities and meet goals as determined by board and staff.
– Demonstrate understanding of non-profit finances, budgets, and financial statements.
– Demonstrate ability to lead staff and manage resources successfully.

• Effective Communicator
– Articulate and promote BRING’s mission and brand (written and spoken).
– Develop and expand community partnerships and alliances.
– Develop and expand donor base; cultivate relationships with key donors.
– Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Starting Salary Range:  $70,000 to $80,000 plus benefit package
Start Date:  May, 2015
