Located in Salem, provide engineering expertise and assistance to projects for the department by applying a wide range of engineering principles and innovative methods in the state-of-the-art design and construction of Fish and Wildlife facilities such as fish hatcheries, fish ladders, fish screening facilities, office buildings, shops, sewers, roads, and water supply systems. Many of the designs are unusually complex, requiring proficiency in civil and hydraulic engineering, and coordination with electrical, mechanical and structural engineering disciplines. Responsible for engineering projects from concept to completion. General responsibilities include engineering for hatcheries and fishways for the Restoration and Enhancement program and other department-related facilities.
Salary: $4,791-$7,023/mo. Generous benefits package.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Instrumentation & Control, or Electrical Engineering; and four years of engineering experience; and you must be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Oregon or have the ability to obtain an Oregon license within six months.
