Are you looking for something unique? Pacific Science Center offers a distinctive work experience with our one of a kind location consisting of 7 acres of science exploration and fun. We are currently searching for an Event Supervisor to join our exciting Events team. The Events Supervisor plans and hosts events for a variety of internal and external clients, furthering Pacific Science Center’s initiatives to significantly enhance the participant’s experience; expand role as a driving force for science education; increase audience diversity; and operate a thriving enterprise capable of fiscal and environmental sustainability.This is an exempt, full-time, regular position.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and excellent customer service skills. The Event Supervisor should have excellent interpersonal skills and staff management experience. They should be a quick-thinking problem-solver, a decisive leader, and smiling team player. We are also looking for someone that is an efficient user of the Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with ticketing systems and event planning software is a plus. A minimum of one year of experience in customer service is required while event planning experience is preferred.
