CONSERVATION CAMP AND CLASSES PROGRAM SUPERVISOR

The Oregon Zoo is pleased to announce an available position working in our Environmental Education program area. The person in this position will plan and develop curriculum and program activities for camp and environmental education programs at the zoo. The focus of this position will be to develop meaningful curriculum for families and children, and ensure efficient program operation. Duties will also include staff supervision, developing and monitoring the program budget, and evaluating curriculum and program effectiveness to provide the best service possible to program participants and zoo visitors.

Job Type: Full Time
Salary: $60,838.00 – $87,564.00 Annually

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor degree in education, biology, zoology, child development or a related field and three years progressively responsible experience in program and curriculum development or any combination of experience and education that provides the necessary skills, knowledge and ability to perform assigned tasks.

Preferred:
Supervisory experience; elementary teaching certificate; Certified Interpretive Trainer (NAI) certification.
