- Sage Grouse Mitigation Coordinator w/ ODFW – Salem, OR
The mitigation program coordinator will develop and oversee implementation of the new Greater Sage-Grouse (GSG) Mitigation Program and other evolving market-based programs, including all of the necessary tools and protocols. S/he will lead updates and adaptations to the mitigation manual by implementing an adaptive management system and ensuring that the program meets the ODFW mitigation policy for GSG. This position will be responsible for ensuring the mitigation program meets its stated goals and that the mitigation manual and all associated materials are current, usable and credible. The Coordinator will work closely with the Habitat Mitigation Program located in Wildlife Division, to ensure compatibility with the state-wide ODFW Habitat Mitigation Policy.
