Community Educators have the incredible opportunity to share valuable skills with participants through our dynamic, comprehensive workshops! This is grassroots community education at work, a chance to do on the ground work that is challenging and fulfilling. If you have a talent for public speaking, love sharing with others, and have a passion for home health and energy conservation, then this could be the job for you.
COMPENSATION: $13 – $14/hour, full-time
The Community Educator will work with partners to coordinate and conduct several types of workshops, chiefly on Lead Poisoning Prevention, Lead Safe Home Projects, and Basic Weatherization.
The Educator will give over 80 workshops per year, sharing safety and conservation skills with hundreds of participants, and will clean and distribute 25 HEPA vacuums per year.
