This is a new Interpretive Specialist position in the Shasta-Trinity National Recreation Area so the person will have the opportunity to a build an Interpretive Program from the foundation.  There are so many great opportunities to partner with our marina operators, other permit holders, businesses and neighboring agencies (BLM and NPS).  The program was very large here back in the 1980’s but was cut with budgets at the time.  Then it included living history tours, boat tours, dinner boat presentations, nature hikes, as well as the more routine campground programs.  Also looking for someone that can provide public affairs skills to the unit to market the great opportunities and help manage our small visitor information center!

It’s going to be a great job in a great place~!

Anyone that replies to this Outreach will be notified when job announcement comes out.  At that time folks will only have 10 days to submit an application.

We look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.
