Climate Change and Energy: Policymaking for the Long Term
October 27- November 1, 2019
Faculty Chair: Robert Stavins
Application Deadline: August 27, 2019
Scientists and most policymakers agree that global climate change is one of the most critical issues of our time. It poses significant risks to our natural environment, as well as the global economy, and threatens the long-term viability of human society.
Climate Change and Energy: Policy Making for the Long Term is a one-week executive program offered by Harvard Kennedy School. Led by Professor Robert Stavins, with global thought leaders on climate and energy as faculty, this program brings together public-policy makers and corporate leaders from the U.S. and around the world to address the science, economics, and policy of climate change – and closely related aspects of energy production and use.
Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education uses a rolling admissions policy, so early application is encouraged. For questions, please contact the Program Director, Caitlin Marquedant: caitlin_marquedant@hks.harvard.edu
