The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Environmental Services Office is seeking one experienced environmental professional to serve as a WSDOT/USACE Environmental Permitting Liaison located in Seattle, WA. The position supports WSDOT’s mission, goals, business needs and priorities by serving as an interagency liaison that promotes trust, cooperation, and mutual understanding between WSDOT and the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers (USACE).

The interagency liaison position serves as a senior consulting expert between WSDOT and the USACE and performs streamlined regulatory and environmental review of WSDOT permit applications and mitigation site closeout requests. The position also helps WSDOT improve our performance of developing complete permit applications to the USACE.
